Schoooooool's Out For Sum-mer!

I don't know about you fellas, but I'm finally on my Summer vacation. (Party!) So, in celebration of that fact (not that I don't do this every week anyway :P), I drew Mort took a picture.

I know some of you are sitting at your desks or wheresoever your computer may be and asking yourselves, "When is he gonna put up the next comic?!" Relax. I've got it around here somewhere... I just gotta take the time to sit down and ink those lines. So, until next week, keep it...French?

Today, I Fulfill the "...and other comics" portion of this blog with a cover for a comic that will never come to be (but would be really cool if it did. :D)


Recently, I learned the "Rule of Thirds", which is basically dividing your page into horizontal and vertical thirds, and drawing your points of interest at the 4 places where the lines of division cross. For this piece, I folded the paper to find the thirds. Lot less work for the penciler that way. ;)
